The multiple expansions carried out at the Isle of Grain facility converted the existing peak-shaving facility into a large import terminal with the flexibility to achieve send out, trans-shipment, and road tanker exports. The facilities added included marine works, LNG storage, 4 x 190,00m3 storage tanks, regasification and sendout systems, pipelines, loading facilities, buildings and all support systems.
